Even an oni can find peace through love. The main subjects of this piece are two iconic elements: the traditional Japanese **Oni** and a black French Bulldog. The Oni represents anger, pain, and the darkness buried deep within the heart. In this piece, the Oni encounters a French Bulldog, and through that connection, slowly begins to rediscover his humanity and inner peace. In Japanese culture, Oni are often associated with fear, misfortune, and violent power. At the same time, they can also represent the anger, desire, suffering, and darkness that exist within human beings. What changes the Oni is the unconditional love of a dog. When you live with a dog, there are moments when their presence alone can save you, even without a single word being spoken. On the days when you feel down. On the days when you do not want to do anything. They simply stay by your side. They trust you without condition and remain beside you without changing. **“No matter how damaged or hardened a heart may become, love has the power to change it.”** That message is expressed through the image of the Oni gently holding the French Bulldog close. Built around the bold lines and powerful colors of traditional Japanese tattoo art, this piece brings DOGGIES’ own sense of **DOG LOVE** into the world of Irezumi. **Even an Oni can find peace through love.** This DOGGIES art piece represents **a heart that was saved through life with a dog.**
