At first glance, The Infinite Eye appears to be a monumental eye emerging from darkness. Look closer, however, and its familiar shape begins to unravel into an impossible architectural world. An endless spiral staircase twists through itself, bending perspective and quietly breaking the laws of space. Tiny solitary figures move across its steps in contradictory directions. Some appear to climb upward, others descend, yet none seem capable of reaching a true beginning or end. Gravity becomes uncertain, distance becomes deceptive, and every path eventually leads the viewer back into the illusion. At the heart of the composition stands a mysterious glowing doorway. Its soft light contrasts with the surrounding black, ivory, and charcoal architecture, creating the impression that something exists beyond the impossible structure. Whether the doorway represents an escape, an entrance, or simply another layer of the illusion is deliberately left unanswered. From a distance, the stairways, shadows, and negative spaces merge into the unmistakable silhouette of an enormous human eye. Up close, that image disappears into hundreds of architectural details, creating two different visual experiences within a single composition. The restrained monochrome palette intensifies the geometry while allowing light and shadow to define the surreal environment. Sharp lines collide with impossible angles, repeating patterns disappear into darkness, and carefully placed figures emphasize the overwhelming scale of the structure. The Infinite Eye explores perception, infinity, observation, and the strange boundary between what the mind expects to see and what can actually exist. The longer you look, the less certain the architecture becomes.
