SERIES — INLAND LIGHT INLAND LIGHT is a five-piece semi-abstract landscape series inspired by inland scenery—lakes, hills, stone terraces, olive trees, cypress trees, and quiet hillside towns. From a distance, each work still reads as a landscape. Up close, the emphasis shifts to broad white brushwork and layered accents of pale blue, blush, ochre, lavender, and sage. The sky is kept mostly white, with color appearing only at the edges and between the larger strokes. The landscapes below are also simplified, using broad shapes and painterly texture rather than fine detail. The light, calm palette works especially well with white walls, wood, and natural-material interiors.
