There is no face in this piece. The figure is only shoulders, sleeves and hands - everything else has been given over to the light. We imagine creation as something loud. It probably isn't. The moment a thing actually begins tends to pass in silence, held in someone's hands, unnoticed. Printed as a giclee on archival paper with 12-colour pigment inks.
