Beyond is the eighth and final work in The Inner Journey, representing the moment when we move beyond the boundaries of our past and open ourselves to something greater. Turquoise and white form the luminous foundation of the work, layered with silver and gold. The colors create a sense of elevation and release, as if the figure is quietly drifting toward a world beyond what can be seen. The abstract textures surrounding the portrait evoke waves, light, and flowing air, gradually dissolving into the figure and blurring the boundary between human presence and the surrounding light. The golden lines are inspired by the Japanese tradition of Kintsugi—the art of repairing broken pottery with gold. Here, the cracks are not symbols of an ending. They become pathways through which light can emerge. Silver represents the openness of the unknown. Gold represents the memories and experiences carried along the journey. Turquoise represents hope and the possibility of a world yet to be discovered. Beyond is a portrait of moving forward without denying the past.
