I usually work as a porcelain painter. For about 30 years, I have been creating hand-painted works on white porcelain and teaching many students in my classes. This time, I tried something new — I created a series of works that blend my own original idea of a black cat into the art of Katsushika Hokusai, the Japanese artist I respect and admire most.
