Based in Tokyo. I work as an illustrator who draws on a wide range of stylistic approaches, selecting and proposing the best visual expression for each project. I adapt fluidly across styles — from pop, approachable imagery to clean visuals for advertising and publishing, to character-driven narrative illustration. I have a track record across a broad range of media, including web, magazines, books, pamphlets, advertising, apparel, and music packaging. I specialize in figure-plus-scene compositions, visualizing business concepts, and creating diagrams and maps — in short, <visual communication that organizes information and makes it easy to understand>. I create illustrations that honor the characteristics, goals, and target audience of each medium, striking a balance between practicality and visual impact.
