I photograph castles, shrines, temples, and landscapes across Japan. What draws me in are ancient trees and stones shaped by time, and the quiet spaces left behind once all trace of human presence has faded. Through my own lens, I try to preserve the "wood, stone, and stillness" I find woven into the Japanese landscape.
