I am Koen Takeda, a "Irodori Moji®︎ Artist" and certified instructor of the Ippan Shadan Hojin Irodori Moji®︎ Association. Using gansai — the pigment colors found in ink wash and Japanese painting — I create richly colorful lettering art. I breathe new life into the written word. My work is driven by a desire to bring healing and deep emotion through the gentle, harmonious hues of traditional Japanese color.
