Mie

Born in Japan in 1933, Mie began studying oil painting in 1987, at the age of 54. She went on to paint landscapes, people, and animals in oil and pastel for approximately 36 years, until 2023. It may take time for a strangeness no one has seen before to find acceptance. There is an often-told story that Van Gogh sold only one painting during his lifetime. Will you pause before one of Mie's paintings?
