Gemma Terol

She is a graphic designer and illustrator based in Barcelona. She combines her graphic design work at MMMM Studio with a more personal illustration practice, always depicting scenes and objects from everyday life. Her clients include *El País*, *The Barcelonian*, *Barcelona en Comú*, *Editorial Planeta*, *Hospital Sant Joan de Déu*, *Gran Teatre del Liceu*, *Penguin Random House* and *Museu d'Art de Girona*, among others. Her creations are almost always in red and blue, lately with a touch of yellow, and she frequently incorporates sailor stripes. When working with ceramics, she enjoys discovering characters in cups, teapots and jugs bought at flea markets and giving them a second life. She also tells stories through hand-crafted and hand-painted plates and mobiles.
