Marina García Fernández is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice moves between drawing, painting and sculptural exploration. A tireless image-maker, her work grows from a constant curiosity about how images can be constructed, transformed and imbued with new meanings. Rather than being confined to a single technique, her practice evolves through experimentation with colour, gesture and material. Nature, organic forms and symbolic narratives shape her visual world. Many of her figurative images are characterised by the simplicity of their forms and an expressive use of colour. Her online shop grew from a desire to share them with a wider audience, so they can find their place in new spaces and, hopefully, create a sense of connection with those who live with them.
