I create artworks inspired by Japanese bonsai and traditional objects, combining the bold lines and composition of ukiyo-e with the rich colors and expressive brushwork of oil painting. AI is one of the tools I use in my creative process, but I do not present automatically generated images as finished works. From selecting the subject to shaping the composition, form, lighting, color, texture, and negative space, I carefully direct, revise, and refine every detail until the piece feels complete. By bringing together the aesthetics of traditional Japanese art and contemporary technology, I aim to create works that evoke stillness, Zen, and the quiet passage of time.
