Nancy McKie is a self-taught artist based in Cumbria, UK, known for her bold, colourful paintings of animals and nature. Working in acrylic and oil on canvas and paper, she combines expressive shapes, playful details and unexpected colour to create distinctive, contemporary artwork. Inspired by the natural world, childhood memories of the Scottish coast and the connections between people and animals, her work brings warmth, character and a sense of joy to everyday life. Nancy sells her original paintings, prints and regularly takes commissions.
