Tabby Booth

Tabby Booth studied illustration at Central St Martins and is the co-founder of Cygnets Art School and Sailors Jail Gallery with her husband Hessy. They live near Penzance in the pink house at the top of the hill, with their two children Rudy and Ziggy, and dog Badger. "The best things in life are about contrast, and for me, nothing looks better on a wall than that rich, bold silhouette. It works in any size, on any colour, and just as well on its own as combined with other styles and textures. It has the power to transform the character of a space. I love to play around with the juxtaposition of something that looks like an ancient relic, yet with a naive and whimsical element that doesn't take itself too seriously."
