Art posters by Vincent van Gogh (1853–1890). Born in the Netherlands, he painted for only about ten years yet left more than two thousand paintings and drawings; his swirling brushwork and thick, vivid colour shaped Expressionism after him. Sunflowers and Café Terrace at Night, painted at Arles in 1888, The Starry Night from the asylum at Saint-Rémy (1889) and Almond Blossom, made for his newborn nephew (1890), remain among the most loved pictures in the world. The strong contrast of yellow and blue, and the greens of his wheat fields and gardens, make a focal point for a living room or entryway. Giclée prints.
