I create works that blend traditional Japanese culture with contemporary digital expression. Drawing on delicate linework reminiscent of ukiyo-e, motifs symbolic of Japanese culture such as kimono, seasonal flowers, dragons, and tigers, I reinterpret them through a modern sensibility. Within Japan's vibrancy there is stillness, and within its strength there is delicacy. I aim to capture that uniquely Japanese aesthetic in each piece — art that can be appreciated across eras and borders. Inheriting tradition while painting a new vision of Japanese beauty. That is the theme at the heart of YoneZ's work.
