I'm based in Nagasaki, and my work revolves around life with dogs, the beautiful landscapes of Japan, and the quiet moments hidden within everyday life. Having said goodbye to four beloved dogs who were by my side for more than twenty years, I found myself wanting to preserve in my art the simple sight of a back turned away, the feeling of waiting for someone, and the warmth of light falling softly into that moment. Ripples spreading across still water, seasonal blossoms and autumn leaves, the tranquil presence of a shrine. Drawing from scenes that have stayed with me, I use AI as one of my newer artistic tools to create gentle, painterly works that evoke the feeling of watercolor or oil painting. My hope is that whoever looks at these pieces might let their shoulders relax just a little, and find themselves remembering something precious, or a moment of quiet calm. One image to bring stillness to your everyday life.
