This is the morning view of Sōen that I gazed at through my right eye while hospitalized in the 10th floor east ward of Sapporo City Hospital, recovering from surgery for a detached retina in my left eye. I am grateful to still be able to paint. The original work is a vertical F10 canvas, but I have adapted it here into a square format.
High-quality giclée printing using 12-color pigment inks and 0.35mm fine art paper. Faithfully reproduces the texture and brushstrokes of the original work, with lightfastness of approximately 200 years.
Orders placed by noon ship the same day. Enjoy new art in your space without delay.
