A silent white expanse, punctured by dark openings in the earth. From them, figures emerge — each unaware of the others, all gazing in the same direction. The delicate afterimages that drift around each figure are traces of time: a record of rising and falling, again and again. In them lives the loneliness we feel within society, and the distance between people who share the same space yet never truly meet. And yet, along the horizon where grey sky meets white ground, a soft blush of pink light lingers — something that looks, unmistakably, like hope that has not fully left. Depending on where the viewer finds themselves inside, the work shifts quietly between "solitude," "renewal," "stagnation," and "change." Its restrained palette and generous ma (negative space; the meaningful silence between things) settle the room into stillness, while opening a story that belongs to whoever hangs it on their wall. Every time you look at it, it asks: where are you right now?
High-quality giclée printing using 12-color pigment inks and 0.35mm fine art paper. Faithfully reproduces the texture and brushstrokes of the original work, with lightfastness of approximately 200 years.
Orders placed by noon ship the same day. Enjoy new art in your space without delay.
