"Labyrinth of Violet Mist" Deep within a forest where layer upon layer of violet mist dissolves every boundary. The man kept walking, eyes fixed on her back just ahead, driven by the single fear of losing sight of her. Beyond the churning currents of the Sanzu River (the river of the dead separating the living world from the afterlife), what awaited him was not peace — but a silence with no way out. With every step, a cold presence crept up from beneath his feet, quietly eroding the memories of when he was still alive. No matter how far he walked, the scene never changed. The same trees in the same rows, the same colored mist, the same stillness. When fear overtook him and he called out in a trembling voice, she turned — without a sound. What was reflected in her eyes was not his face, but the inescapable karma (the weight of deeds that bind the soul) he had carried all along. The answer did not come as words. It pierced his skin as despair, simply present, undeniable. Follow the words carved at the edge of that abyss of forgetting… A nameless echo dissolving into the violet veil The warmth of fingertips, never quite crossing over This is not the place where light returns Only shadows that have lost their meaning overlap, dissolve, and bleed into one another Circling, circling — a labyrinth of endless rings Footsteps swallowed by the mist Voices drawn into the violet silence Now, close those eyes You are allowed to forget where home was Simply, within this eternal trembling Become part of this nameless fog ◈ Artist's Note I chose a deep, sinking violet as the dominant color of this work — the color of a place where the boundary between life and death has melted away, where every border has lost its meaning. The silhouette of the woman standing at the center was painted deliberately dark and heavy, as if her details had been blotted out. She exists both as a guide through the forest of the underworld and, at the same time, as the labyrinth itself — the one that grants no escape. In the visual treatment, I layered a fine grain across the entire canvas to heighten the texture of the mist. The trees in the background are intentionally blurred, allowed to dissolve into the violet light — evoking a forest that stretches on and on, endlessly deep, with no exit in sight. The light does not filter through the trees; instead, the mist itself seems to glow, radiating an unsettling, faintly ominous luminescence. This was my way of showing that this is not a place of rest, but a place where inescapable karma churns without end. In the accompanying poem, I deepen the sense of "labyrinth" expressed visually through the repetition of language. By doubling the word "circling" — circling, circling — I sought to engrave the feeling of an endless loop, of walking and walking only to return to the same place. The contrast between the "warmth of fingertips" in the poem and the "cold violet" that blankets the canvas is a meditation on how the memories of being alive are quietly stripped away within this silence. The poem closes by offering "forgetting" as a kind of salvation — not a return to the light, but the loss of individual form, a dissolving into this violet mist until nothing remains. The visual noise and the poet-narrator's final arrival at "shadows that have lost their meaning" are meant to overlap and bleed together, completing a single inescapable scene. ◈ Edition This work is a limited-edition giclée print from the Mystique In Enigma series. About Limited Editions
This is a Limited Edition produced in only 1 pieces worldwide. Each piece carries a unique edition number, with authenticity proven both digitally and physically.

Each print carries a unique NFC tag. Its tamper-evident structure breaks if removed, so it cannot be transferred to another work.

Artwork details, edition number, and ownership history are recorded on the blockchain, preserving provenance and ownership over the long term.

A certificate bearing the artist's signature is included. Along with the print itself, it leaves you with proof of authentic ownership.
Unlike traditional proof that relies on a handwritten signature alone, linking a physical NFC tag with a digital certification record delivers tamper-proof, far more reliable proof of authenticity.
Authenticity is certified using "Startrail," a blockchain certification platform operated by Startbahn, Inc.
