Below, the landscape is kept simple — hills, valleys, fields, and trees rendered through color fields and brushwork, with little use of water or architectural detail. From a distance, the works read as autumn landscapes; up close, the block-like color fields and scraped surfaces come forward. Warm autumn tones are balanced with blue-gray and lavender, making the series easy to live with in calm, contemporary spaces.
