"The Lingering Scent of Spring" She was a wanderer who believed that beauty is etched into eternity in the very moment beloved blossoms begin to fall. That longing, even after leaving the body behind, keeps her suspended at the threshold — a pale, drifting haze of color. In time, her form dissolved into the twilight and became one with the scattering petals. If that feeling were to be woven into verse... In the place where dusk begins to melt away I become a pale petal and drift Shedding the weight of the seasons I am here — simply as the lingering scent of spring To fall is not to disappear but a beautiful passage by which color returns to the sky Please, entrust your heart to this fragrance For within your memory I will go on smiling, forever ◈ Artist's Note In creating this piece, I wanted to express a sense of weightlessness and fragility — as though the figure were gently shedding the heaviness of physical existence. To that end, I deliberately avoided rendering her outline too sharply, layering soft blurs so that she seems to dissolve into the surrounding background and petals. Around her shoulders in particular, I applied a grainy digital noise unique to the medium. This texture was chosen to underscore that she is not a being of flesh and bone, but rather a kehai (気配, a felt presence — an atmosphere, like a scent or a memory, that drifts without form). The image captures the single most beautiful instant just before her figure melts completely into the stillness of dusk. The accompanying poem is an affirmation of that "fading away." The words carry a feeling that falling petals and colors losing their form are not loss at all, but a beautiful process of returning to something greater. Just as the figure in the poem speaks of herself as "the lingering scent of spring," I was conscious of letting that same sense — the unmistakable kehai of her having been there, and the quiet resonance that remains after she is gone — drift across the entire canvas. In terms of color, I placed the vivid pink that symbolizes her — like mist, or like particles of light — within a near-monochrome palette of muted saturation. I believe this contrast brings her smile, and her longing for "eternity," into sharper and more bittersweet relief. ◈ Edition This work is a limited-edition giclée print from the Mystique In Enigma series. About Limited Editions
This is a Limited Edition produced in only 1 pieces worldwide. Each piece carries a unique edition number, with authenticity proven both digitally and physically.

Each print carries a unique NFC tag. Its tamper-evident structure breaks if removed, so it cannot be transferred to another work.

Artwork details, edition number, and ownership history are recorded on the blockchain, preserving provenance and ownership over the long term.

A certificate bearing the artist's signature is included. Along with the print itself, it leaves you with proof of authentic ownership.
Unlike traditional proof that relies on a handwritten signature alone, linking a physical NFC tag with a digital certification record delivers tamper-proof, far more reliable proof of authenticity.
Authenticity is certified using "Startrail," a blockchain certification platform operated by Startbahn, Inc.
