"A Silent World" Fragments of memory, shed from a collapsed ceiling, lie still across the floor as settling dust. In a room of a mansion that once pulsed with someone's daily life, a single ownerless chair has been left behind. The sharp light pouring through the window shines like a call toward some distant future, yet mercilessly exposes the stagnant time pooled within this space. Around the chair, thoughts that wander without finding a way out spiral like smoke, drifting through the air as a grief that never takes form. What remains here is the frozen echo of a single moment — belonging to one who can neither leave nor return. If you listen closely to that silence… Beyond the window lies a silent world where the wind murmurs on — or perhaps the soul locked within its depths is not even permitted to leave. Light is a lie. It does not illuminate me; it is merely a tool for casting my shadow. ◈ Artist's Note A room in ruins where time seems to have stopped — and within it, a single solitary chair. Through this work, I sought to render the feeling of stasis: a state caught between a past that has already gone and a future that will never arrive. The decayed walls and debris scattered across the floor are the remnants of a life that has crumbled away. They do not simply exist there — they continue to quietly accumulate within a space that has lost its owner. At the heart of this piece is the contrast between the intense light flooding in through the window and the shadows it casts. I deliberately rendered the light from outside as an overexposed blaze — a signal that the world beyond, a world of possibility and hope, still exists. And yet that same piercing light invades every corner of the room, acting as a merciless device that lays bare the stagnation of time and the reality of decay that had been hidden there. By deliberately maintaining a strong contrast, I chose to emphasize light not as salvation, but as a "tool" that throws an inescapable present into sharp relief. Around the chair, I layered smoke-like textural effects. These represent the thoughts of someone tethered to this place — circling without finding any exit. A formless grief drifts through the air, encircling the chair, giving visual shape to the loneliness and despair of one who is trapped within this space. Technically, I chose to unify the texture of the entire image in a deliberately coarse, gritty quality. Layers of fine grain are built up so that every flake of peeling wall and every particle of dust on the floor registers as a fragment of memory. Meanwhile, I treated the chair's silhouette carefully so that it does not dissolve entirely into the background — preserving just enough edge definition while allowing it to be gradually swallowed by the surrounding shadows. The result is a rendering of a precarious balance: present, yet on the verge of vanishing. I want you to feel the "echo" that drifts within the silence. Beyond the window there should be a vast world — and yet the one who remains inside this room is not permitted even to cross that threshold, condemned to repeat a single frozen instant. Within that suffocating claustrophobia, and within the contrast of light that is as beautiful as it is cruel, I have sealed away the voice of one who cannot be seen. ◈ Edition This work is a limited-edition giclée print from the Mystique In Enigma series. ◈ Keywords abandoned mansion / ruin / solitary chair / lingering memories / frozen moment / shadows and light / haunting silence / forgotten space / visual metaphor / atmosphere of solitude / dust and debris / mystical realism

About Limited Editions
This is a Limited Edition produced in only 1 pieces worldwide. Each piece carries a unique edition number, with authenticity proven both digitally and physically.

Each print carries a unique NFC tag. Its tamper-evident structure breaks if removed, so it cannot be transferred to another work.

Artwork details, edition number, and ownership history are recorded on the blockchain, preserving provenance and ownership over the long term.

A certificate bearing the artist's signature is included. Along with the print itself, it leaves you with proof of authentic ownership.
Unlike traditional proof that relies on a handwritten signature alone, linking a physical NFC tag with a digital certification record delivers tamper-proof, far more reliable proof of authenticity.
Authenticity is certified using "Startrail," a blockchain certification platform operated by Startbahn, Inc.
