"Blue Shadow of Boundaries" O shadow, bearing light upon your back, holding the echoes of roads now past — a blue soul (kokoro) adrift in the void, a silent prayer, waiting for someone, or perhaps, to call back once more the brilliance of that distant day to this earth — a melody that whispers along the boundary line. ◈ Artist's Note What I sought most to capture in this work was the subtle trembling of a soul that is "freed, yet unable to fully let go." This shadow standing in the stillness of deep green and mist within a forest is not simply departed — rather, I wanted it to feel as though it is "breathing along the boundary line" between this world and another. In processing the image, I first laid an intense cyan-tinted blue light across the entire background to anchor the color of the "blue soul (kokoro)" from the poem at the very foundation of the piece. Without this blue tone, it would become nothing more than a forest landscape. The figure — the shadow itself — was given deliberately deep gradations of black and brown. While the light-kissed edges of the silhouette are kept sharp, the misty details surrounding it are layered boldly with digital noise. That noise expresses the state in which her soul has not yet resolved into a single, ordered form — in other words, the way invisible things like "lingering attachment" and "whispers" seep and bleed across the surface of the work. In writing the poem, what moved me most was the phrase "a melody that whispers along the boundary line." This passage seemed to suggest that she stands quietly still, yet continues to emit something — and so I made it the core of the piece. Visually, I adopted the composition of "a shadow bearing light" — placing a powerful light source (a backlit sun-like glow from behind) to maximize the presence of the silhouette, while attempting to create the illusion that the outline itself "glows as if from within," lit by the blue light. By threading the consecutive questions through the poem — "a silent prayer, waiting for someone?" and "or perhaps, to call back the brilliance of that day once more to this earth" — I wanted to open a space for you, the viewer, to begin asking: "What is it she is searching for?" What I wish to convey is that it is not simply a peaceful departure, but that the state of "drifting while holding a wish" is the most beautiful of all. What this work reaches toward is the sensation that even within a still, silent presence, there is always a faint and ceaseless movement of energy. ◈ Edition This work is a limited-edition (1/1) giclée print from the Mystique In Enigma series. About Limited Editions
This is a Limited Edition produced in only 1 pieces worldwide. Each piece carries a unique edition number, with authenticity proven both digitally and physically.

Each print carries a unique NFC tag. Its tamper-evident structure breaks if removed, so it cannot be transferred to another work.

Artwork details, edition number, and ownership history are recorded on the blockchain, preserving provenance and ownership over the long term.

A certificate bearing the artist's signature is included. Along with the print itself, it leaves you with proof of authentic ownership.
Unlike traditional proof that relies on a handwritten signature alone, linking a physical NFC tag with a digital certification record delivers tamper-proof, far more reliable proof of authenticity.
Authenticity is certified using "Startrail," a blockchain certification platform operated by Startbahn, Inc.
