Tateshina somehow reminded me of a kappa (a mischievous water sprite from Japanese folklore). In the artwork, I rendered it in the style of a pharaoh's golden mask. The star of the piece is a white tiger — a creature long celebrated as a symbol of good fortune across Asia.
