"Mirror on the Ice" The mirror on the ice reflects into the void — a rift of light, a gaze that beckons toward the unseen world. A thread of light leaking from the dark. A soul dwelling in this cold, still surface. Crossing the threshold, a presence adrift in the mist. ◈ Artist's Note I wanted to evoke a forest scene suspended between this world and the next — a liminal space (the threshold where two realities touch). I sought to capture the ethereal sight of trees standing silently around a frozen, snow-laden pond. By softening the field of view, I aimed to conjure the sensation of probing the boundary between the real and the unreal. I focused on brightening the image from its outer edges toward the center, as if the viewer were peering into another world through a small, secret opening. I adjusted the contrast of light and shadow so that the thread of light seeping from the darkness might feel like a soul housed within the cold water's surface. To render a world of silence — shadows standing in the forest, reflected in the frozen pond — I unified the overall palette in cool tones and built layers of deep, resonant shade. I deliberately kept the contours ambiguous, using a misty blur to preserve that sense of space: fragile, yet profound. Throughout, I maintained a cold and hushed atmosphere while guiding the eye along threads of light that seem to cross some invisible threshold. By layering the frozen texture of the water's surface against the presence of the surrounding forest, I express the solitude and stillness of this in-between world. ◈ Edition This work is a limited-edition giclée print from the Mystique In Enigma series. ◈ Keywords Mirror on the Ice / MystiqueInEnigma / WinterScene / Fog / LightRay / LiminalSpace / Reflection / Cold / Silhouette / Mystical

About Limited Editions
This is a Limited Edition produced in only 1 pieces worldwide. Each piece carries a unique edition number, with authenticity proven both digitally and physically.
Each print carries a unique NFC tag. Its tamper-evident structure breaks if removed, so it cannot be transferred to another work.
Artwork details, edition number, and ownership history are recorded on the blockchain, preserving provenance and ownership over the long term.
A certificate bearing the artist's signature is included. Along with the print itself, it leaves you with proof of authentic ownership.
Unlike traditional proof that relies on a handwritten signature alone, linking a physical NFC tag with a digital certification record delivers tamper-proof, far more reliable proof of authenticity.
Authenticity is certified using "Startrail," a blockchain certification platform operated by Startbahn, Inc.
