"At the window bleached in white, against the black of the wall, I see myself reflected. Words and fragments alike carried off by the wind. No one lifts my voice from the silence — yet I have grown so used to it, learned to live inside that quiet. Still, something in me trembles. And so it is only your figure I watch." ◈ Artist's Note A room inside a manor. There, the spirit of a woman who once lived in this place lingers in stillness — a presence like a luminous white shadow. I set out to capture the fleeting moment where her existence and mine brush against each other. She no longer holds words; she has simply become part of the space itself, dissolving into the long reverberation of time that has passed her by. In composing the image, I worked with the light falling inward from windows on either side, using the sharp contrast it creates as the visual foundation. By sinking the surrounding walls into a deep, heavy black, I was able to draw her white silhouette upward from the center of the frame. Details were deliberately stripped from the periphery, and the shadows pushed darker, so that her half-severed existence — caught between this world and somewhere beyond — could be felt without being stated. Rather than tracing a hard edge around her form, I layered soft blooms of blur so that she seems to dissolve into the light itself — a way of sitting in the space between the real and the imagined. The faint bleeding of her outline against the window's glow might be read as the slow erosion of memory, or as the lingering attachment to this world taking on a shape it can no longer quite hold. For texture, I laid a film-grain roughness across the entire surface, leaning into the material quality that photography, as a medium of record, carries in its body. By resisting the smoothness of pure digital rendering and preserving a deliberate coarseness, I meant to suggest that her presence is less "here, now" and more "a fragment of something that once was." Through this work, I tried to make visible the kind of emotion that has no language — the trembling that cannot be spoken, the voice no one reaches down to gather. In its place, she simply remains as light. I hope that viewers will find in the open space of the image a place to lay their own memories, and their own grief for what has been lost. ◈ Edition This work is a limited-edition giclée print from the Mystique In Enigma series. ◈ Keywords Ghost / Haunting / Mansion / White Shadow / Memories / Silence / Ethereal / Monochrome / Contrast / Nostalgia / Lingering / Spirit

About Limited Editions
This is a Limited Edition produced in only 1 pieces worldwide. Each piece carries a unique edition number, with authenticity proven both digitally and physically.

Each print carries a unique NFC tag. Its tamper-evident structure breaks if removed, so it cannot be transferred to another work.

Artwork details, edition number, and ownership history are recorded on the blockchain, preserving provenance and ownership over the long term.

A certificate bearing the artist's signature is included. Along with the print itself, it leaves you with proof of authentic ownership.
Unlike traditional proof that relies on a handwritten signature alone, linking a physical NFC tag with a digital certification record delivers tamper-proof, far more reliable proof of authenticity.
Authenticity is certified using "Startrail," a blockchain certification platform operated by Startbahn, Inc.
