"White Silence and the Bones of the Night" I carry the memory of once walking hand in hand with someone. But now I can no longer recall the warmth of that hand, nor the color of the sky we looked up at together. Only this silence remains vivid. This is a place that is neither an ending nor a beginning. Amid fog that settles like snow, I search for the outline of myself. The bare trees stand like the skeleton of the night, swallowing my footsteps. Now and then I catch the faint murmur of someone far away — but whenever I reach out to call to them, my fingertips dissolve into the mist. I am simply unable, forever, to take the one step that would carry me into the next moment... Beneath my feet — white silence, piling deep Branches like bleached bones, pointing toward the sky In a sea of fog, I lose my own name Forgetting the warmth of this world, I dissolve into the stillness of the next A cry that never arrives is swallowed into silver-white dark And I drift, forever, in the in-between ◈ Artist's Note This work depicts a threshold forest — a place that exists in the space between this world and the next. Spread across that place is a world of deep fog and silver-white light that buries all memory of what came before. Snow covers the ground, and layers upon layers of obscuring mist make it impossible to tell where the edge of the world even lies. The bare, leafless trees stretch thin fingers toward the sky like the skeletal framework of night itself, standing row upon row in the silence. In composing the image, I was careful with the control of contrast in order to visualize the "in-between state" this place holds. Light falling from the sky is diffused by the fog and dissolves into a pale, hazy gradation. The silhouettes of the trees, by contrast, are kept dark and sharp-edged — made to stand out like the bones of night. This interplay of light and shadow emphasizes the boundary between what has substance and what is dissolving away into the mist. By layering a fine, granular texture across the entire surface, I aimed to evoke not simply a landscape, but the atmosphere of drifting memory fragments and presences that cannot be seen. The palette is pared to its extreme — composed solely of white, black, and a trace of sepia gradation — to build a hushed, solitary space from which the warmth of this world has entirely departed. The presence standing in this forest has forgotten the warmth it once knew, and exists only within the sensation of its own outline dissolving into the silver mist. An overwhelming silence that swallows even footsteps. Caught in that in-between, unable to move forward or to stop — I have sealed a nameless fragment of time into this single print. ◈ Edition This work is a limited-edition giclée print from the Mystique In Enigma series. About Limited Editions
This is a Limited Edition produced in only 1 pieces worldwide. Each piece carries a unique edition number, with authenticity proven both digitally and physically.

Each print carries a unique NFC tag. Its tamper-evident structure breaks if removed, so it cannot be transferred to another work.

Artwork details, edition number, and ownership history are recorded on the blockchain, preserving provenance and ownership over the long term.

A certificate bearing the artist's signature is included. Along with the print itself, it leaves you with proof of authentic ownership.
Unlike traditional proof that relies on a handwritten signature alone, linking a physical NFC tag with a digital certification record delivers tamper-proof, far more reliable proof of authenticity.
Authenticity is certified using "Startrail," a blockchain certification platform operated by Startbahn, Inc.
