"The Landscape Within Closed Eyes" She swallows the silence, eyes shut, thoughts adrift. A ghostly silhouette dissolves into monochrome, drifting, wrapped in noise. The shadows of the city and the light of the beyond cross for one brief moment — and she keeps it, sealed inside her chest as memory. Her heart still wanders along the boundary between this world and the next — a poem of a soul, endlessly searching. ◈ Artist's Note Artist's Note: The Landscape Within Closed Eyes When we close our eyes, our consciousness slips away from the outer world and sinks quietly into itself. As I worked on this piece, I kept returning to the feeling that she wasn't simply standing still — she was gazing at a landscape visible to no one else, spread across the back of her own eyelids. I chose to unify the entire image in monochrome because stripping away the richness of color felt like the only way to reach the senses more directly — to build something urban and razor-sharp in atmosphere. It is precisely the absence of color that lets the contrast of light and shadow sharpen, and I aimed for a texture so tactile you could almost feel the temperature of the place where she stands. The idea that shaped my approach most deeply was the blurring of boundaries. By deliberately dissolving the edges of her figure and layering the entire frame in grain-like noise, I tried to hold two things at once: the solid, embodied presence of a person, and the spectral quality of something about to fade into mist. That treatment was essential to depicting her precarious state of equilibrium — physically present in the "here and now," yet with half her consciousness drifting toward distant memory or somewhere else entirely. The words I placed alongside the image reflect that same wavering. Amid the roar of the city, a sudden pocket of silence arrives — and in it, life and death, reality and imagination intersect. I wrote the poem as a way of recording the shape of a soul wandering that threshold. I hope that whoever holds this work might quietly lay their own memories, or the shadow of someone dear to them, over the landscape she is seeing — the one that must not be seen with open eyes. ◈ Edition This work is a limited-edition giclée print from the Mystique In Enigma series. ◈ Keywords Portrait / Monochrome / Abstract / Silhouette / Grainy Texture / Spiritual / Urban Shadow / Melancholy / Blurred Boundaries / Inner World

About Limited Editions
This is a Limited Edition produced in only 1 pieces worldwide. Each piece carries a unique edition number, with authenticity proven both digitally and physically.

Each print carries a unique NFC tag. Its tamper-evident structure breaks if removed, so it cannot be transferred to another work.

Artwork details, edition number, and ownership history are recorded on the blockchain, preserving provenance and ownership over the long term.

A certificate bearing the artist's signature is included. Along with the print itself, it leaves you with proof of authentic ownership.
Unlike traditional proof that relies on a handwritten signature alone, linking a physical NFC tag with a digital certification record delivers tamper-proof, far more reliable proof of authenticity.
Authenticity is certified using "Startrail," a blockchain certification platform operated by Startbahn, Inc.
