"Golden Silence" This room, where the western light pours in, was once the safest place I knew. Every time the sheer lace curtains stirred in the breeze, I thought I could hear someone laughing outside the window — and I always kept myself inside that gentle swaying. On that day, long past the hour you promised to return, I stood at the windowsill waiting for the sound of your footsteps. Only in these moments, as the dusk swallowed every corner of the room and the edges of things grew soft and indistinct, could I exist as part of your memory — without dissolving entirely into the other side. Those particles of light quietly melt the outline of who I am… Through the translucent cloth the world is steeped in golden silence and the swaying hem traces the shape of your return My fingertips cannot gather even a single mote of light — they know only how to stand still amid the layered shadows Beyond the window seasons pass, again and again, yet I keep watching this heatless dusk in silence ◈ Artist's Note When a place that was once part of someone's everyday life is finally enveloped in stillness after a long passage of time, I sense that the faint residue of warm memories still drifts there. In this work, I painted the twilight falling into a single room of a mansion that has since fallen to ruin. At the center of the composition, just beyond a sheer lace curtain, stands a young woman in wordless vigil. She is a figure poised on the boundary of memory — waiting, forever, for the footsteps of someone who will never return. In the making of this piece, I focused on rendering that peculiar, fleeting quality of late afternoon light as it slowly consumes a room. Against the strong light streaming through the window, I emphasized the translucency of the curtain fabric and the contrast of the shadow lurking behind it. To evoke the sensation of luminous particles filling the space and softly dissolving her silhouette, I deliberately blurred the edges of her form, allowing them to bleed into the light of the background. The overall palette is unified in a golden tone — the kind that feels warm and yet somehow cold, caught in that breath just before nightfall. I carefully deepened the tonal gradations to guide the eye from the darkened corners of the room toward the light at the window. The fine grain that spreads across the entire surface reads like dust that has settled over time — or perhaps like the gradual fading of her own existence from the world of the real. Here, as if refusing to dissolve completely into the world on the other side, she goes on watching in quiet stillness — the seasons that have slipped away, and a promise that will never be kept. ◈ Edition This work is a limited-edition giclée print from the Mystique In Enigma series. ◈ Keywords Golden Hour / Ruin / Silhouette / Ghostly / Lace Curtain / Sunset Light / Nostalgia / Solitude / Melancholy / Ethereal / Memory / Abandoned Mansion

About Limited Editions
This is a Limited Edition produced in only 1 pieces worldwide. Each piece carries a unique edition number, with authenticity proven both digitally and physically.

Each print carries a unique NFC tag. Its tamper-evident structure breaks if removed, so it cannot be transferred to another work.

Artwork details, edition number, and ownership history are recorded on the blockchain, preserving provenance and ownership over the long term.

A certificate bearing the artist's signature is included. Along with the print itself, it leaves you with proof of authentic ownership.
Unlike traditional proof that relies on a handwritten signature alone, linking a physical NFC tag with a digital certification record delivers tamper-proof, far more reliable proof of authenticity.
Authenticity is certified using "Startrail," a blockchain certification platform operated by Startbahn, Inc.
