"A Gaze Lost in the Purple Haze" Within borders layered upon borders of violet mist, she stands — anchored only by the faint sensation that she was once, truly, there. The contours that should have held her shape are eroded by an endless current of chromatic noise, rewritten from fingertip inward, particle by particle, into pale light. What she stares into is not the scene before her, but the fading echo of a self on the verge of dissolution. The name someone once called her, the feeling of wind against her skin — all of it melts away inside the purple haze. Before she can even feel the weight of what is lost, her presence simply, beautifully, uncertainly, bleeds into the depths of the night. And if, at the far edge of that trembling, one tries to cup the spilled memories in both hands, the words become this…… A border dissolving into purple haze Even fingertips grown translucent Memory becomes only particles Peeling away, falling away What lurks beyond the gaze Only a nameless silence Keeps tracing the trembling shadow In a place I can no longer return to Your silhouette wavered ◈ Artist's Note A violet noise rises as if climbing out from the depths of the canvas, blanketing the entire field of view. In this work, I set out to capture the beauty of the precise moment when the memory of "someone" who once unmistakably existed begins to lose its form and collapse like fog. The figure portrayed as a portrait no longer holds any clear outline. By deliberately blurring her edges and processing them to bleed into the darker regions of the background, I dissolve the boundary between substance and phantom. Strong highlights fall across her features, yet those very details are buried beneath noise — producing an unstable, almost flaking texture, as though visual information itself is peeling away. As I wrote the poem, I felt that this "dissolution" was not mere loss, but a process both beautiful and urgent. In the language of the poem, too, I held onto that sensation of being released from physical substance — of growing translucent, even at the fingertips. The line "memory becomes only particles" resonates with the grainy texture scattered across the entire image. The specks of digital noise drift across the canvas like fragments of memory that crumble and fall with the passage of time. As visual information fades and a nameless silence spreads, what trembles last is the image of someone from a memory one can never return to. Inside a violet fog where light and shadow clash and cross, I sealed into this single print the quivering afterlife of things that only the vanishing can possess. ◈ Edition This work is a limited-edition, single-print giclée from the Mystique In Enigma series. About Limited Editions
This is a Limited Edition produced in only 1 pieces worldwide. Each piece carries a unique edition number, with authenticity proven both digitally and physically.

Each print carries a unique NFC tag. Its tamper-evident structure breaks if removed, so it cannot be transferred to another work.

Artwork details, edition number, and ownership history are recorded on the blockchain, preserving provenance and ownership over the long term.

A certificate bearing the artist's signature is included. Along with the print itself, it leaves you with proof of authentic ownership.
Unlike traditional proof that relies on a handwritten signature alone, linking a physical NFC tag with a digital certification record delivers tamper-proof, far more reliable proof of authenticity.
Authenticity is certified using "Startrail," a blockchain certification platform operated by Startbahn, Inc.
