From a distance, the works suggest the sea, headlands, white architecture, cliffs, and changing coastal light. Up close, these forms dissolve into layered color fields, scraped surfaces, and tactile brushwork. The series keeps a sense of quiet, breathing space, and soft light while introducing brighter notes of turquoise, coral, pale blue, ochre, and deep ocean tones. It is designed to sit naturally in Japandi-inspired interiors as well as brighter contemporary spaces. Rather than describing every detail, she focuses on the moment just before a landscape or form becomes fully defined—or the moment its edges begin to dissolve. Through layered brushwork, scraped textures, translucent color, and intentional negative space, her work seeks to create a quiet interval for the viewer.
