"The Queen of the Ruins" There is no one left outside the window. She walked through rain-streaked glass, listening only to the sound of it. Her black hood and cloak were armor forged for a soul that never weeps. One foot in a high heel — elegance inside the silence. The other a prosthetic — a sharpness that makes memory ring. You call me a ghost. But I am simply here, in a place no one else dares to enter. Because… I am the Queen of Another World. I chose to walk these ruins so that you might see me. ◈ Artist's Note A woman, a black silhouette, stands at a corridor window. The walls are peeling, grime collects on the floor, and the glass of the double doors bleeds into the dark behind her. Within that shadow, one foot lands in a high heel; the other leg is thin, and different. Her cloak spreads wide, as though catching the wind. This did not begin as a story about a "Queen of Another World." What came first was a feeling — the sensation of walking through a room where rain makes no sound. In a space gone utterly still, only sound moves ahead of the body. That alone was what I wanted to capture. Why a high heel? Why a prosthetic? At first, both were unconscious choices. I leaned into the click of the heel to preserve a sense of elegance within the silence; the phrase "a sharpness that makes memory ring" arrived only afterward. In truth, I layered blur and noise not to suggest sound, but to make the shadow itself seem to sway. The black silhouette is deliberately deformed at its edges. Because no face or hand is visible, I wanted to leave room for viewers to place their own memories — their own names — inside that shape. The ruin is treated as a place where the past has accumulated in strata. "No one is there" is a fact, but a different kind of time still lingers. While working, the word "otherworldly" arrived with startling ease. If this figure belongs to a world beyond the human one, then the border between living and dying grows indistinct. So in this work, I ask you not to see a ghost — but a queen of a separate time, simply passing through. The image is finished in monochrome, but not merely for atmosphere. By stripping away color, I tried to reduce visual noise and close the distance between the work and whatever is inside the viewer. Because I softened the boundary between light and shadow, some edges bleed and blur — and I left them that way deliberately. "There is no one left outside the window" — that line builds a world that exists only within the room. This is a place where interior time stretches longer than anything outside. I would rather you read it not as a ruin, but as a space closer to "forgotten time." ◈ Edition This work is a limited-edition giclée print from the Mystique In Enigma series. ◈ Keywords Gothic Art / Silhouette / Rain / Ruin / Melancholic / Digital Art / Gothic Aesthetic / Limited Edition / Fine Art Print / Black and White Photography / Atmospheric

About Limited Editions
This is a Limited Edition produced in only 1 pieces worldwide. Each piece carries a unique edition number, with authenticity proven both digitally and physically.

Each print carries a unique NFC tag. Its tamper-evident structure breaks if removed, so it cannot be transferred to another work.

Artwork details, edition number, and ownership history are recorded on the blockchain, preserving provenance and ownership over the long term.

A certificate bearing the artist's signature is included. Along with the print itself, it leaves you with proof of authentic ownership.
Unlike traditional proof that relies on a handwritten signature alone, linking a physical NFC tag with a digital certification record delivers tamper-proof, far more reliable proof of authenticity.
Authenticity is certified using "Startrail," a blockchain certification platform operated by Startbahn, Inc.
