"Waiting Feet by the Window" Are the window bars a cage — dividing what lies beyond from what remains here? Beyond the milky, clouded light, I stand, unable to move. I remember a time when warmth lived in this place. The feeling of bare soles against the floor, the quiet afternoon when someone's footsteps still echoed, and the vivid turning of seasons that spread beyond the glass. Now, only a silhouette dissolving into backlight. The body has melted into mist; nothing remains but a shadow, caught in the corner of this room. I am waiting. For someone who will pass through these bars and find me. Or perhaps for the moment I finally shed this heavy shadow and melt away into that blinding white light. I am here. What you see is not me — it is my absence. ◈ Artist's Note A home reduced to ruin, emptied of everyone who once lived there. All that lingers is the memory that someone, undeniably, was alive in this place — a memory adrift in a suffocating silence. In this work, I portray the spirit of a man who, from a certain day forward, lost his form entirely, leaving behind only his feet. Even now, in a forgotten corner of this abandoned room, he drifts endlessly through fragments of time that have passed and the tender feelings he once held dear. At the center of the frame, two legs emerge from the backlight. His form has grown as vague as fog; before the window bars that mark the boundary between this world and the beyond, he simply stands, frozen. I was conscious of letting the longing and grief for a "warm body" that once existed — the sensation of soles touching the floor, the memory of a quiet afternoon filled with someone's footsteps — settle into the tremor of that silhouette. By layering heavy noise and hazy white light deliberately, I obstruct the viewer's sight and draw out the loneliness lurking behind the blurred edges. The near-blinding light that pours through the window feels like salvation, yet at the same time it functions as a border that keeps him at a distance from this world. What I want to show is not the "someone" who is there, but the presence of an absence — something that should exist and yet no longer does. I made this work hoping that as each viewer layers their own memories and landscapes onto the scene, the silence drifting through this room will resonate all the more deeply. ◈ Edition This work is a limited-edition giclée print from the Mystique In Enigma series. ◈ Keywords Ghost / Spirit / Ruins / Loneliness / Memory / Silhouette / Window / Monochrome / Glitch / Nostalgia / Void / Fine Art

About Limited Editions
This is a Limited Edition produced in only 1 pieces worldwide. Each piece carries a unique edition number, with authenticity proven both digitally and physically.

Each print carries a unique NFC tag. Its tamper-evident structure breaks if removed, so it cannot be transferred to another work.

Artwork details, edition number, and ownership history are recorded on the blockchain, preserving provenance and ownership over the long term.

A certificate bearing the artist's signature is included. Along with the print itself, it leaves you with proof of authentic ownership.
Unlike traditional proof that relies on a handwritten signature alone, linking a physical NFC tag with a digital certification record delivers tamper-proof, far more reliable proof of authenticity.
Authenticity is certified using "Startrail," a blockchain certification platform operated by Startbahn, Inc.
